However, I did notice that some restaurant issues dampened the experience a bit, and the shower could definitely use an update. For a short transit stay, the positive dining experience really stood out for me.

Additionally, the shower in the superior room felt dated, not matching expectations for a four-star establishment. The food at Longcourt House was simply delightful, especially the breakfast, which offered excellent choices, including locally sourced options that tasted phenomenal. The spacious and comfortable Deluxe Double Room made for a splendid stay, complete with amenities like a flat-screen TV and a well-stocked hospitality tray.

I really appreciated the hotel’s proximity to Castle Desmond and the scenic river, both just a short walk away, making my city strolls all the more enjoyable. plus, the breakfast was a lovely way to start each day, reminding me of home with its delicious salmon omelette and homemade porridge.
